Mission

Digital Governance Research Centre (DGRC) is an institution of study, education, planning and implementing support modern approaches and methodologies for governance at local, national and international level. The Center, through the continuous concentration of international but also the Greek experience on mission-critical applications and services for citizens and businesses aims to direct as possible and complete dissemination of rules and methods of e-Government and the flexible application of the multitude of possibilities on the needs of public administration.

The DGRC is an initiative of university laboratories and research centres, bodies of public administrations, businesses and citizens ‘ organizations, under the coordination of information systems Laboratory of the Department of information and communication systems engineering, University of the Aegean. The Scientific Committee on administration of teachers UNIVERSITIES participate, DGRC researchers and executives from Greek Universities, research centres and Institutions with proven national and international experience and expertise in the field of eGovernment. The DGRC pronounce in Greek society and market access to more than 100 specialists – researchers from Greece and abroad, capable of contributing to the analysis, design, implementation and dissemination of innovative eGovernment solutions with high added value for the Greek public sector, the business community and society.
